Charm Industrial and Boeing Sign Offtake Agreement for up to 100,000-tonnes of Permanent Carbon Removals

Charm Industrial, a leading carbon removal company, announced today that Boeing [NYSE: BA] has purchased up to 100,000 tonnes of permanent carbon removals.

Charm’s innovative process transforms wildfire fuel residues and agricultural waste into a carbon-rich, semi-liquid mixture called bio-oil, which is injected into EPA-regulated underground wells, including former oil wells. The mixture then solidifies and is permanently stored.

This process not only removes carbon dioxide from the atmosphere but also strengthens American manufacturing.

The carbon removal sector is poised to create new economic and job opportunities in energy, forestry, and agriculture sectors, especially in rural communities, including diversifying income streams for farmers.

This agreement further aligns with Charm Industrial’s mission to scale carbon removals while creating high-quality American jobs. The company has prioritized hiring rural workers to operate its bio-oil injection sites, leveraging their expertise to advance a new era of technology.
